As part of its ongoing customer service commitment to ensuring the best possible user experience for its retail partners, Utopia has introduced a brand new order tracker. The new service is now live via the dedicated Retailer Hub portal on the main Utopia website.

Designed to make life easier and quicker for retailers by making information instantly accessible at any time of the day or night, the new order tracker allows customers to view all active and completed orders at a glance as well as tracking delivery dates, by order reference or line item.

Encouraging retailers to access the new service via the website, Helen Clark, Head of Marketing at Utopia, comments, “Having the most up to date information at their fingertips is crucial for our retail partners and having the ability to access this information any day of the week or any time of the day that suits them is equally essential – no more waiting until business open hours. This new tool will, I am sure, be invaluable to our retailers moving forward for greater visibility assisting in the planning and delivery of their next projects. ”

Chic, Utopia’s brand new modular range of bathroom furniture, has been Highly Commended in the Bathroom of the Year category of the Ideal Home Best Bathroom Awards 2025.

Helen Clark, Head of Marketing at Utopia, comments “To say we are delighted is an understatement. We are so proud of the Chic Collection and the limitless opportunities it offers to create stunning personalised bathrooms, but it’s wonderful to have the powerful independent endorsement of leading interiors magazine Ideal Home.”

Designed and manufactured exclusively in the UK, Chic was launched last year and is a truly versatile collection of modular furniture. The perfect fusion of form and function, it is available in 19 fabulous finishes with a whole host of opportunities to create a unique look.

As Richard Shore, Head of Product Design at Utopia, explains “Everyone can be a designer with Chic, creating unique, personal and eye-catching combinations from the array of options available. I call it ‘bespokability’!”

2025 is the third year running that Utopia has been recognised in the Ideal Home Bathroom Awards. Last year, Utopia was delighted to win the Best Modern Bathroom Range category with its new Qube Collection.

Utopia is delighted to announce the launch of its new ZEST Partner Programme, which goes live this October. This latest initiative follows on from a strategic review of the business and aims to position the company as the leading supplier for adding value to customers, categories and consumers.

ZEST is a fully detailed support programme of customer business benefits with increased insights on how Utopia adds value to partners. Based on numerous factors, Utopia is introducing a new three tiered partner category – Signature, Advocate and Associate. The programme also focuses on the potential for customers to make step changes in their display/sales/brand advocacy alignment to secure the best possible partner categorisation, ultimately leading to the highest level of reward and support possible.

Utopia Sales Director Gary Matthews explains “The new ZEST programme massively simplifies our business proposition by communicating all the benefits of being associated with Utopia. It will undoubtedly energise our business partnerships and our Business Development Managers are currently busy explaining to our partners the many features and opportunities that ZEST presents.”

Five years after investing in a Talbott’s biomass boiler and heating system at their Midlands-based headquarters, Utopia Furniture Ltd has reported a significant reduction in the company’s carbon footprint as part of its ongoing commitment to the environment.

As Jon Phelps, Production Engineering Manager at Utopia, comments “The biomass boiler and heating system represented a considerable investment for Utopia but we really are reaping the benefits now.  Collecting off-cuts and dust waste in skips and then transporting it to landfill sites was not only costly but also unsustainable in environmental terms. This way we eliminate all of that process whilst generating our own energy.”

Since its installation in April 2017, over 3,000 tonnes of wood waste has been used to fuel the biomass boiler. That’s the equivalent of 300 large skips full of waste which would previously have been collected and transported to landfill sites. This waste has generated over 500,000kwh for Utopia which has heated the factory and offices during the winter months and also kept the two ovens used during the manufacturing process at the correct curing temperature all year round. To put this into perspective, 500,000kwh would heat 10 x 40ft indoor swimming pools for a year or heat 125 average size houses for a year.

The biomass heating system is just part of Utopia’s strategy to lessen its impact on the environment by constantly reviewing manufacturing practices as well as designing more sustainable products. The company is proud to exceed environmental targets each year by recycling packaging and has also taken steps to minimise the use of cardboard by cutting packaging to exact size on site. In addition, every year tonnes of packaging waste is recovered and recycled.  Almost 100% of the timber used in Utopia’s furniture is FSC certified and the company continues to actively explore new eco friendly measures to reduce its carbon footprint still further.

Utopia Furniture Ltd has appointed Isabel Conn as its new Marketing & Digital Coordinator.

Isabel, who has a first-class honours degree in Visual Communication from Birmingham City University, will be a key member of the marketing team and, in particular, will assist in developing and growing the company’s digital strategy.

Since graduating, Isabel has worked on a number of live creative briefs set by global advertising agency McCann, in customer-focused roles with the McArthurGlen Group and, more recently, within the bathroom sector gaining valuable experience.

Commenting on her new role, Isabel said “I am delighted to be joining this market-leading brand at such an exciting time and look forward to learning a variety of new skills whilst making a positive contribution to the day to day running of the marketing department.”

Helen Clark, Head of Marketing at Utopia, comments “Isabel joins the business at a truly inspiring time as we unveil a host of new products to the market this Spring. With Isabel’s degree experience, creativity and enthusiasm we have no doubt she will be a fantastic addition to the business and will be key in delivering our future marketing campaigns.”

Utopia Bathrooms has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Daniel Rudge as Business Development Executive for the Eastern region of England.

Daniel has many years’ experience in the KBB sector including over five years with Bathstore, joining as a design sales consultant and rising to store manager with responsibility for both the Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead branches. More recently, Daniel worked in the flooring industry and it is from this role that he joins Utopia.

Welcoming Daniel to Utopia, Alex Patterson, Head of Retail, comments “We’re delighted that Daniel has joined us in this key role at such an exciting, albeit challenging, time. His expertise in the sector will be invaluable. By investing heavily now in our sales team and our new product development programme, we are ensuring Utopia is well placed to capitalise on the exceptional current demand for bathroom renovations, emerging even stronger than before Covid-19 struck.”

On top of two recent significant product launches, Utopia’s latest initiative is a new Fast Track delivery service offering three to five-day delivery on a dedicated selection of the newly refreshed Qube collection of wall mounted and freestanding bathroom furniture.

The products available via the new Fast Track service are in the popular White Gloss or Pebble Grey Gloss finish and are all detailed in the new Qube brochure.

Helen Clark, Head of Marketing at Utopia Bathrooms, comments, “We understand just how frustrating it can be if schedules change and product is required urgently. We’ve listened to the feedback from some of our customers and are delighted that we can now offer this service. It’s become very clear that there is a requirement for a speedily delivered offering and, with the further development of our new Qube collection, we are now able to offer a selection of this furniture range on a quicker turnaround.”
